IN A NUTSHELL...

We take your items for 90 days and when it sells we pay you 50% of the sales price.  Checks are cut once a month and may be picked up after the 5th.  Any checks not picked up will be mailed out on the 15th.  A $1.00 service fee is deducted from each consignment check.

If you have merchandise in stock after the 90 day consignment period, it will be pulled and deleted from inventory.  Once pulled, it is held for 7 days for pick up.  If not picked up after 7 days, it becomes property of Fabulous Finds and will be donated.                                    

PLEASE  NOTE!  As of January 1, 2010, we will go to a 60%/40% split if you want your unsold clothing returned to you.  Please understand when we pull expired clothing we have to sort, bag and notify you to pick it up.  It is a huge amount of work and extra expense therefore we will be charging an extra 10% of your sales. 

If you choose to donate your unsold clothing, the commision will remain 50%/50%.

Clothing....

Fabulous Finds Consignment Super Store strives to take quality, stylish, glently own clothing and accessories which are smoke free with no stains or tears.  Please understand, if you haven't worn your clothing because it is outdated, we don't care to consign it.  Accessories include but are not limited to:  pocketbooks, shoes, jewelry, scarves, hats, almost full perfume, belts, and luggage.  Clothing also includes formal gowns and wedding dresses.  A maximum of 30 clothing pieces and 8 pair of shoes is accepted at a time.  This does not include coats, jewelry, scarves, etc.

Furniture, Decor and More...

We take fine quality, gently used furnishings, art, pottery, glass, chandeliers, mirrors, china, silver, antiques, vintage linen, and many other items.  All items must be clean and in good condition.  We also understand that many items are "antiques" or "vintage" and as such they may have normal wear.  To us normal wear is not the same as excessive wear, so please choose your items accordingly.  Also, we take holiday items but only during their shopping season.  For example, we will take Christmas items at the end of September but not after the 1st of December.

 Bringing Items for Consignment...

If you are interested in consigning with us, please call for an appointment.  As a general rule, we take clothing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and home decor on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  We only book 3 appointments per day and items may be dropped off between 11am and 6pm. 

During your appointment, your consignment will be evaluated for approval.  Fabulous Finds reserves the right to refuse any items that may not be suitable for the showroom.  Please remember, when it comes to vintage clothing and decor, there is "good vintage" and "bad vintage" and our staff will make that determination.

Once your merchandise has been approved, you will be asked to sign our consignment contract and your information will be placed into our computer. 

HOW WE DO IT...

Tracking...

Each consignor is given a consignor code and each item a number.  Your items are put into our database which places items in inventory.  Our software then tracks the sales and generates a check at the end of the month.

Pricing...

Items will be priced by the staff of Fabulous Finds.  In the case of formal gowns or furniture, we will discuss pricing with you.  Please keep in mind, we are located in Commerce, Ga., not downtown Atlanta and we price things accordingly.  We do not have a markdown schedule so we price things to sell.  Fabulous Finds reserves the right to reduce prices for special occasions or to make a sale. 

Getting Your Items to Us....

It is your responsibility to get your consignment to us. 

Clothing may be brought in on hangers you don't want back or neatly folded.  Please do NOT bring clothing in garbage bags.

If you are bringing in large furniture pieces, please have someone with you to help you unload.  We will not always have muscle in the store to help with loading and unloading.

If you are unable to bring us large items, special arrangements can be made in advance at a reasonable price.
